Sunnyvale Rotarians Flo Stafford and Joe Hamilton plus former Sunnyvale Rotarian Russ Hobbs traveled to Southern China with other Rotarians from May 4 to May 18.  The purpose of the trip was to witness the accomplishment of a matching grant sponsored by the Santa Cruz Rotary club but to which Sunnyvale Rotary donated $1,000.  After being matched by the Rotary Foundation, the grant purchased $60,000 for the purchase installation and staff training for stationary and mobile cardiac care monitors and other essential equipment for modernizing the care of heart patients in a poorly equipped hospital in the remote city of Taojiang.
